"Sunshine" debuted on the ARIA Singles Chart at number fourteen, before reaching its peak of number eight in its fourth week on the chart. It stayed in the ARIA top 50 for seventeen weeks for 4 months and was eventually certified gold. "Sunshine" ranked #80 on the ARIA End of Year top 100 singles chart of 2005 and also on the top 20 Australian singles chart at #20.

Allison is a Sydney based Christian singer who grew up in Bossley Park, she learnt piano from the age of seven and after finishing school she went on to study at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and finished in 1999. She recorded this album in 2004 and is now involved with the church and teaching.
